Project Overview
The Henry Street Traffic Calming Project was approved by Council at the June 3, 2024 meeting; construction is anticipated in May 2025.
Why is this project being done?
This project is being completed to address speeding concerns and cut-through traffic on Henry Street.
Work to be done
Four speed humps will be installed on Henry Street between Golden Avenue and Packard Street.

Installation of calming devices is anticipated to begin May 2025 and last approximately 4-6 weeks weather dependent. Installation will occur in phases to minimize impact to residents.
Temporary impacts include:
- Temporary restricted on-street parking
- Closures to one lane
- Intersections may be closed for limited time to allow for installation and curing of devices
Please adhere to all detour and parking restriction signs during construction to ensure a safe and quick project completion.
