Project Overview
The project is located north of W. Liberty Street, west of Virginia Park, on a branch of Allen Creek, to reestablish stormwater detention and improve stormwater quality. Anticipated construction in winter 2024/25.
Why is this project being done?
This is a Capital Improvements Plan project to accomplish the following:
- Retrofit the existing stormwater detention area
- Reestablish stormwater detention with current design standard
- Streambank stabilization and sediment removal
- Stormwater quality improvements
Cost and funding
The total project cost in the approved Stormwater capital budget is $250,000.
