Asphalt preventative maintenance treatment, pavement marking updates, and bike lane installation on Liberty Street between Maple Road and Stadium Blvd.

Why is this work being done?

  • Preserve asphalt pavement.
  • Increase bicycle access and mobility.
  • Improve safety for all road users.

Work to be done

  • Cape seal treatment.
  • Install bike lanes between Maple Road and Stadium Blvd. and improve markings.

  • Update pavement markings and vehicle lane assignments along Liberty Street.

  • Ann Arbor Street Fund
  • Act 51 monies

  • Traffic delays, lane reductions and other construction traffic signage and changes might be implemented during phase of the project. Detours, if any, would be communicated during construction.
  • Residents in the vicinity will experience noise and dust normally associated with construction.
  • Minor increases to delay and travel time for drivers.
