July 27, 2026: Last week, crew completed Step 1 of the 'cape seal' preventative maintenance process, which included placing loose aggregate (gravel) over a layer of adherent liquid asphalt, which will be compacted by regular vehicle traffic.

This week, crew will complete Step 2 of the process, which includes applying thin layers of aggregate, sealant, and asphalt to achieve a smoother road surface.

• Traffic delays, lane reductions and other construction traffic signage and changes might be implemented during phase of the project. Detours, if any, would be communicated during construction.

• Residents in the vicinity will experience noise and dust normally associated with construction.

• Minor increases to delay and travel time for drivers.
