The proposal is to add a 400 square foot addition to the rear of the existing Little Blue Preschool and to expand the preschool to the existing home on the corner. The proposal also requests to split the lot at 113 Eighth St (Little Blue Daycare) in order to build a new single-family house on the resulting parcel at 920 W Washington. This property is in the Old West Side Historic District. The proposed design for single-family home was approved by the Historic District Commission in January 2026.

This is a type two development which requires that postcards are mailed to every property within 500 feet of the property. The postcards were mailed out in May 2026. The postcard is also posted on the city's website with the developer's contact information to receive project inquiries.
